Join us at Messy Church 11 am to 1 pm

Messy Church is for everyone in our South Liverpool Community. It is fun, messy, inclusive and all about Jesus. We play, pray and eat together.

Using one of our favourite stories about Jesus or a special event like Easter or Christmas, the Messy team plan a range of crafts and activities to bring our theme alive. We have crafts, messiness and activities for everyone to enjoy.

Messy Church is for children of any age who have a willing adult to bring them. Adults must stay for the session and are welcome to join in.

After the Messy Session there is an interactive Liturgy in church, which always involves a good story, some songs to sing along to, a tambourine to jingle and a chance to explore church, without having to worry about keeping still and quiet.

Following the Liturgy we sit down to eat together, a tasty picnic lunch with something for everyone and a cuppa to end our session.

Messy Church is a monthly event, usually the third Saturday of each month, from 11am to 1pm. The dates are on the calendar and our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/L17MessyChurch/

Messy Church is free to attend but we welcome and value your donations of money and supplies.

We are very proud of running Messy Church on a shoestring budget and recycling and reusing the supplies that are donated to us. If you would like to donate either cash or supplies it would be hugely appreciated. Currently we are short of ready mix paint (all colours) and hama beads/stencils.

At Messy Church we take your safely seriously. All our adult helpers are DBS checked and we risk assess at every event.

If you think Messy Church sounds like a great and fun way to bring our South Liverpool Community together and would like to join our team please get in touch. Helpers should be at least 14 years old and there is no upper age limit. All that is required is a love of Jesus, a sense of fun and a willingness to craft, organise or clean up.
